Product Manager (f/m/d) dubex

We are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) for our dubex product to join us as soon as possible in a permanent full-time or part-time position, starting at 30 hours per week. This is a newly created position to expand our team.

In this role, you will combine SAP SD consulting with product management for dubex.

You will advise our customers on SAP SD and confidently handle SAP SD customizing. At the same time, as Product Manager, you will drive the functional development and market evolution of dubex, our SAP add-in for address management and data quality. You will be responsible for positioning the product in the market and delivering product presentations.

You will work closely with our development, consulting, and sales teams. Together, you will translate customer needs and market requirements into a robust product roadmap. The extent to which you focus on SAP SD consulting or product management will depend on current needs as well as customer, project, and product requirements.

Your responsibilities:

SAP SD Consulting:

  • You will analyze our customers' sales processes and develop suitable solutions for implementing and optimizing them in SAP SD.
  • You will independently and confidently implement these solutions using SAP SD customizing and support projects from requirements analysis through to go-live.
  • You will advise our customers, conduct workshops and user training sessions, and provide support with testing and troubleshooting.
  • You will take into account the integration of SAP SD into existing system landscapes, particularly with FI/CO, MM, and PP.

Product Management for dubex:

  • You will drive the functional development and market evolution of dubex, our SAP add-in for address management and data quality.
  • You will gather and prioritize customer and market requirements and, together with development, consulting, and sales, translate them into a robust product roadmap.
  • You will be responsible for positioning dubex in the market and delivering product presentations and demonstrations.
  • You will support pre-sales activities and contribute your experience from SAP SD consulting to the ongoing development of the product.

The balance between SAP SD consulting and product management will depend on current needs as well as customer, project, and product requirements.

What you should bring:

  • A university degree with a focus on IT or business, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of practical experience in SAP SD consulting and supporting customer projects from initial concept through to go-live.
  • Very good, hands-on knowledge of SAP SD and extensive, confident experience with SAP SD customizing.
  • Very good knowledge of sales processes, particularly quotation management, order processing, pricing, shipping, and billing, as well as an understanding of integration with FI/CO, MM, and PP.
  • Experience in customer consulting, workshops, user training, and presentations; you are able to communicate functional and technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
  • Ideally, experience in product management, pre-sales, or the functional development of software products.
  • A structured, independent, and customer-oriented way of working, as well as enthusiasm for teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.
  • Very good written and spoken German at C1 level, as well as good English skills (consulting and documentation are conducted exclusively in German!).
  • Residence and a valid work permit in Germany, as well as willingness to travel for project assignments at our customers' sites (currently approx. 4 days per month).
